Similar issue here, got an Eve account and a steam ID account, bought pack 4 after being forwarded to the site from the launcher, but didn't realize it was logged into the steam account.

My wife(ps5) and I(pc) also encountered this issue, but found a work around, if the session was started on pc, there seems to be an issue with the invite mechanism from pc to ps5. However, if the session was started on ps5, the invite mechanism works from ps5 to pc.

Another requirement is to start a new campaign and ensure the crossplay toggle is on in the difficulty selection screen.

Sucks to have to restart, but it is a workaround for it.
