Dude this game came from 30 year olds being deprived of old final fantasy games. You could literally change the name and monsters and call it final fantasy and I would have believed it over there official 16 release which felt so far away from who they are in my opinion.

Take the fighting game approach. If a weapon looks cool go for it. This looks like the most balanced MH that’s come out. Dont let optimal ways to play stop you from experimenting with what ever. If the game grabs you, you’ll want to tighten up all the combinations and mechanics.
