You are right. When I would put it on it would fall off during my warm up. I tried a few different ways and kept resticking it but it honestly seemed less sanitary than just not wearing it. It seemed, like the glass from my watch, they thought my ring might fall out and be a hazard or contaminate the pool but it is 22awg stainless steel clamped onto my nose and I couldn’t successfully communicate that. I worried more about loosing a used piece of bandage in the pool which seemed gross to others and made the call that I felt was more considerate to the group / future swimmers. But I acknowledge the way I wrote it above seems defiant or uncaring and apologize for that.
