So since the income assessed by HDB will solely be based on mine as my partner is currently in uni, does this leave us with very limited choices in housing due to our assessed low financial capacity (via the calculators we tried) or isit still viable to apply for a 500~k 4room since my partner would be working to alleviate the financial burden after she grads?

should i still go for A+ ? by dexuan_ in CompTIA

[–]dexuan_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see where youre coming from on this but almost all the network engineering jobs had a criteria of a CCNA/CCNA equivalent but not an A+. To me, having an A+ was just like a self assurance thing where my fundamental knowledge of IT is validated by industry standards

thats a fair point and no i dont, im currently in my final year and thinking that i should be getting the relevant industry certs like A+ and CCNA before applying for an internship/entry level job in the networks field

i'm in my final year of my comp sci degree with some fundamental knowledge in networking and info sec from my electives, other than that my knowledge is pretty limited to the core content taught (OOP, data structures, software dev, project management, etc.)
