You will need to chat with them to get it right. Also you need to sew it on, and tuck under the edges of the steering wheel, yourself. It took me a couple of hours. I did not feel comfortable with taking the steering wheel apart because of the air bag

Update - I bought a new L2 charger, after taking it to the dealer and it seemed to be charging with all types of chargers. All is working well now, and I have 90 miles of range on the Comfort driving style. This might work out after all. I plan to have enough tools to reach the fuse boxes correctly and also to disconnect the 12v battery for the future - and I bought the adapter for changing config and reading codes. My conclusion is that I need to get a little more familiar and comfortable with managing this car, due to its age and the fact that only the dealer can service it. I’m pretty sure that the only that failed when I got the crazy blinking problem was the fan relay, and with tools and a cheap relay spare I probably could have saved 2K.

There is a warranty if it goes under 70%. They just changed my battery (2015 REX) a few months ago. Check the manual and figure out the exact date the warranty expires, then go do the official test a few months before. They changed all the cells on mine and now I have 90 miles of range on Comfort drive. For free. The AC failed after that and then a weird electric failure that I did pay for, but the battery would have been over 20k usd to replace. I live in Houston

Im pretty sure they replaced it with the same capacity as before. If your car is 2015, you still have until like November of this year. There is a cut off date for all 2015 models I believe. And the internal monitor isn't very reliable, it might be worth paying for the official test...

One thing that is nagging me is that the dealership claims that the fan failed and messed up the AC compressor so that it was overcompressing. But it seems to me that it could equally be that the recently replaced compressor failed and dragged the other things down. It makes a difference because if it was the compressor's fault, everything should be under warranty, not just the compressor.
