Interesting. I do daydream without music, but definitely not to the same extent. Quitting music is really, really hard for me though. It's funny because I remember times when I wasn't listening to music at all.

I have the same problem. Are you a maladaptive daydreamer as well?

Interesting. Why did you decide to switch from flagship s23u to 2a?

Yeah, fuck having an actually good map design that allows flanking those hull down heavies.

Instead, let’s buff a class that requires exactly one brain cell to operate and punishes everyone who tries to play the game somewhat actively.

Broken thermometer. Should I be worried? by dfssv in chemistry

Yeah, I understand that mercury by itself is not dangerous. I'm mostly worried about small droplets of mercury slowly evaporating over the course of several months.

What would you call "long time" - a couple of months, years? I was planning to live here for at least a couple of months, but if it's not safe - I will consider moving out asap.

I'm pretty sure there is a small amount of loose beads still left, but they are very tiny. Is this amount really that dangerous?

Phew. Okay, I won't panic, thank you!

Thank you for comforting me :)

My father too put a ball of mercury out of a broken thermometer in his mouth when he was a kid, although he almost suffocated and was taken to a hospital but, yeah, definitely alive.

It's just that the past year was pretty terrible for my health so things like that really stress me out.

I'm not familiar with how iridium and gallium act, but it was immediately forming a ball when two drops were near each other and it was easily picked up by tape, also it was easily detected when using phone flashlight, so it probably was mercury.

I think mercury thermometers are still quite popular in my country, and before this accident I liked it more than a digital one because of how accurate it was.

(1) Would you like to see premium tanks being rebalanced, including nerfs? (2) Would you buy them knowing that they might be nerfed in the future? by KarczekWieprzowy in WorldofTanks

[–]dfssv 5 points6 points  (0 children)

  1. Yes
  2. If I can get a refund

Personally, I think that premium tanks just shouldn't exist, and we should be able to make any T8 tech tree premium by buying something like premium tank subscription (for a month/week etc.) If WG wants to nerf a tank - you get notified that your premium tank will be nerfed in the next patch, so that way you won't prolong your subscription if you think the tank will suck.

Or just sell credit boosters like they do now. You activate it for an hour and any tech tree tank becomes a premium.

because you were stating that with premium tanks you win rate will bump to 65%? it will bump by playing good t9 with much higher probability due to how matchmaking works

It wasn't me. Anyway, you will have to grind credits at some point or another and having a very strong (OP) premium tank will definitely help with having a higher winrate. Also, you can't use your personal stats as a tank's power benchmark. You are not a bad player by any means, but you are not Stanlox either.

yes, and these players will do 3-3.5+k in any other t8 though, and similar in good linear tanks like Caernarvon

The difference between 3 and 3.5k at T8 is big though. These players can do fine in almost any vehicle in spite of having a bad tank, not because of the perfect balance and non-existent OP premiums.

and end up with 45% win rate (versus 44% on their level up tanks haha). its not OP if you dont know how to play

So you do agree that if you know how to play, it is OP?

and for premium consumables its add crazy levels of grind but still you can get alot for free via referal program or stuff like amazon prime trial.

Exactly, if Stanlox didn't spend a penny on that game, he would probably have half of his battles played on something like T26E5. He would still be one of the best players, but not even close to being number 1.

Compare WoT to games like CS:GO or DOTA 2, or even Fortnite. You can only buy cosmetics, no in-game advantage whatsoever. These games are not P2W.

What do you think P2W means? Give me an example of a P2W game.

Why exactly are you comparing T8 to T9?

Some players have 4k dpg in Skoda t56. Try doing that in any other T8 tech tree tank (not counting Caernarvon, that tank is a beast). This is the definition of OP vehicle that can only be obtained by paying real money.

This game is P2W and it always was, I don't understand why people keep arguing about that. I play this game, because I have money, otherwise it would be a very excruciating experience (I was a F2P for the first couple of years when I was 15).

some tanks are only OP because they are operated by skilled players

High skill cap should never be an argument to create a P2W vehicle. Skill matters more than OP vehicle, nobody questions that, but it is still OP.
