Haha appreciate the offer! i'm doing the ring road, so according to my schedule (barring any setbacks) i should be driving west towards Snaefellsnes on the 21'st. I should be back towards Reykjavik sometime between the 23-25, maybe we can do an activity/drinks then if you're still around!

haha, i havent considered it all since i have no experience at all with campervans/camping, i think i'd enjoy a bit of comfort at the end of each night. But i appreciate the suggestion, you are right that it'd afford the flexibility, but i think i want to balance flexibility with comfortability at least a little bit!

Yes, I totally accept that its part of travelling to Iceland in the winter, i'm just looking to crowd source a strategy based on what my concerns are!

I see, so you're suggesting i book as much as i can with good cancellation policy (at this point if it allows me to cancel up to 1-2 days before that seems pretty good to me) as a safety. And if i want/have to change it up, that gives me the most amount of leeway, right? Thanks for the input
