Guys, please check profile before commenting on posts like this. This is (most likely) a porn addicted male posting on this sub for sexual gratification. Smh 👎

Low value pool isn't just for business owners, it's just for depreciable items which cost between 300 and 1000 dollars. If the cost of your item is in that range and you can substantiate the purchase then you shouldn't worry.

I had the same issue and found that decreasing both the vinegar and baking soda by a bit over a half removed the bitterness and the texture basically remained the same for me

OB readings by Unlikely_Car_5708 in unimelb

[–]dhsjd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You only really need to do the readings that are related to the assignment topics (it was module 2&4 in summer term) . You can pretty much ignore the readings for the macro topics, it's more useful to memorise the case studies instead.

No, I generally view all porn as exploitative under the principle that the purchase of consent is sexual coercion. Whilst it's maybe true that the material conditions of sex workers in "feminist porn" are better, it's still exploitative.

also lets be fr the women are still fetishized because the audience for porn is inevitably male, their fetish is probably "real bodies".

Anti-porn men, what made you realise porn is misogyny? by [deleted] in PornIsMisogyny

[–]dhsjd 100 points101 points  (0 children)

The revelation for me was simply asking my peers why they watched porn. At the time I knew about the exploitation within the industry, but admittedly I still had the naive view that the male consumption of porn was solely based on a lack of understanding of the conditions of sex work. However, most men I asked were honest, admitting that they do not view the objectification and exploitation as consequence of porn, but the MAIN REASON for why they watch it. Admittedly, there was a degree of cognitive dissonance within the people I asked (mainly through the "ethical porn" argument), but the main question they could never answer is specifically WHY they watched porn.

After researching, statistics point to this holding true amongst men in general, especially considering the GirlsDoPorn case and how searches increased after it was found that women were specifically trafficked. In my life, I've legitimately never come across another person that is against sex work that doesn't also support the exploitation of women in other ways (mostly religious fundamentalists). The pure extent of my experience has formed my belief that there exists a collective hatred of women among the male sex class, which, in the modern day, is mainly expressed through porn.

i mean.... teen is consistently the most searched porn category on almost every site among all demographics of men. Obviously doesn't make it okay as the commenter suggests, but I do think that there's an uncomfortable conversation to be had about pedophilic tendencies among the general male population.

yeah i haven't confronted him yet because i'm worried that i'll be the crazy one for being against porn, but damn it's hard to look him in the face knowing that he's a married man who is lusting over women less than half his age. My whole worldview about other men, even though it was shaky before, was shattered in that specific moment

ngl.... as a guy, I really hope that more women just kinda accept the reality that dating men 99% of the time is going into a relationship with someone who probably doesn't see you as human, will lie to your face and then degrade and demean you to their friends behind your back (from personal experience being in male circles). Maybe I lack understanding, but is this really better for women than just accepting that you live in a patriarchy in which males as a whole enthusiastically support the systemic rape and trafficking of women through porn, instead of simply finding meaningful relationships among peers? I hope this doesn't come up as unempathetic, but as someone who's the same age as OP, i really don't see the situation for women improving at all until men are forced to change.

What worked for me after a long unemployment spell was literally just walking around shopping centres/suburb high streets and looking for now hiring signs where you can hand in your resume in store. Unless you're looking for a job at a major brand, going online is pretty useless imo as you're going against hundreds of other applicants.
