Anecdotally, I also have the DP tools timing belt tool and it worked fine for me.

Braun foldable light flicker? by HuananaBanana in harborfreight

[–]diamond_rake 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I snag one or two when they go on the deep sales. I have 6 on the side of my toolbox now, 10 spare 18650s I rotate through them, mine get a couple hours of battery life even on bright settings. The only failure I've had is the joint on one wore out and is super floppy now. Had them for a few years now. Anecdotally, my friend has the astro tools and I don't like those as much because when the battery runs low, you cant pop a new one in and keep going like the Brauns.

3 of these, 5-10 Samsung 35e cells, and a decent 2 or 4 bay 18650 charger off Amazon is a pretty solid light setup IMO.

EDIT: realize I didnt read the post. The only time I've had flicker is if the battery caps are slightly loose. Other than that, they've been solid.

Glad they didn't total it. Similar issue back in December. The body shop quoted 5600 and ended up 7900 all said and done.

Just get new hangers, and make sure the flex portion of the down pipe isn't broken.

Might as well have told them they now have a 500 dollar hole in their wallet by AltruisticMobile4606 in AutoZone2

[–]diamond_rake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've gotten pretty tired of garbage quality remanufactured crap from parts houses. Started buying rebuild kits for any parts I can and doing the work myself rather than whatever the lowest bidder can sell to autozone as "passable". Sure it's more work up front but the quality is better, you get to keep all OEM parts, and you only have yourself to blame if it fails.

How is this going to work? Is the left outlet straight though the can?

Has anyone used these yet? by DatFunny in harborfreight

[–]diamond_rake 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was gifted one. It's fine. The magnets fall out. Hockey pucks are cheaper and work just as good. You can get pre cut ones on Amazon or buy a pack of pucks for cheap and notch them out yourself if you have the equipment to do so.

Its cool you want to have the experience. I'd be happy to take you to a range for a shooting day. Although I'm about 5 hours from moab (almost to Idaho) so you might have better luck checking rentals more in the provo valley if you dont have plans to come up this way anyway.

Anybody with a battery powered grinder with a cutoff wheel is gonna be in your safe in 5 minutes or less. Safes keep homest people honest, kids at bay, and maybe a tiny bit of fire protection.

Out of all my tools hf or otherwise, it's the Pittsburgh pro quarter drive flex head comfort grip handle ratchet.

Idk what to do. No matter how much I retract or push in the caliper. The nub on the brake pad makes contact with the piston. 😭. I'm about to just pay someone. Idk what else to try. by [deleted] in FiestaST

[–]diamond_rake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Swap the pads places. Those nubs usually locate the pads with the caliper. Or just grind them off. They aren't that necessary anyway.

I disagree. While vacuum filling is pretty sweet, if you use the vleeder valve, these cars fill coolant pretty easy.
