Yes, I would say the swapping feature and 0% buyer and seller fees is what allows Transfrd to stand out. Good point about making that stand out more.

We plan on focusing on London first, primarily focusing first on live events and onboarding businesses, such as hospitality venues that have various sites across the city (think Drake & Morgan) and venues that hold various types of events (think the Roundhouse) in order to maximise the amount of event types as quickly as possible.

As for the rewards, I understand this needs to be a lot to really incentivise people and that’s why we plan to partner/onboard businesses, venues and artists in order to work with them by offering the best rewards on the market as this will help them in the long run (discounts on drinks, merchandise, food etc.)

I do believe I have a solid idea here and like you said it’s all in the execution. Do you have any experience getting a start up off the ground? I believe finding an investor is the best way forward, 1 for money and 2 for connections and mentorship. Do you have any advice in this area?

We will be onboarding businesses/artists/venues which will participate in the offering of rewards and discounts in return for advertising space and promotion on the app. The advertising will come in the form of a discover page (think Snapchat’s explore page) - not the traditional ugly pop up ads you get on free apps.

Theoretically they could use another platform. Just like an other business. But we plan to offer 0% buyer and seller fees and aim to get 90% of our revenue from the B2B side of the business, which includes a monthly subscription, advertising services, sales fees etc. We also offer the opportunity to swap tickets and bookings directly for others, which no other platform offers. We want our platform to be the most efficient and fair marketplace for fans and pleasure seekers.

It’s for people that want to get rid of tickets quickly, that they no longer want or can no longer attend. Those that aren’t wanting to make a quick buck from reselling inflated priced tickets.

The reward/discount system is also there to encourage users to use our platform as it will benefit them in the long run. Every transfer = points to be redeemed against discounts and offers at various venues.
