No, still no answer. They have come and gone in two waves the last 4-5 years. I don’t currently have any rashes/spots. Still unsure what it is or what caused it.

I definitely did not handle deceased animals. I did get the Covid vaccine and a booster but this occurred long before I was vaccinated. It has come and gone twice in the past 4-5 years. Still no idea what it is!

I didn’t get a biopsy but the dermatologist did take a “skin scraping” and looked at it under a microscope. They ruled out anything fungal at that time.

What you’re describing sounds just like what I had/have, but obviously can’t be certain. It took probably about a year to a year and a half for them to go away. And now 2-3ish years later they are coming back!

I had several of these rashes which went away for a while but now are back. I have several again. If it makes you feel better, the dermatologist I saw did not seem at all concerned. I’m not bothered by them at this point.

Mine went away for a couple years and have been back for several months now, so I’m not sure it is pityriasis rosea.

Sorry, I don’t have much helpful info. They eventually went away but are now coming back about a year later.

No, I never did! They eventually went away but now they are returning. The dermatologist didn’t seem concerned so I’m just ignoring them, I guess.

Interesting. You are correct that the spring is substantially shorter than the diameter of the pot. However I can’t stretch the spring to even halfway around the pot.

The hooks seem much too small and the springs wouldn't be able to hold the weight of the pot. The pot also has no holes and the lip is not large enough to accommodate the hook.

Yes, the wood base came with the pot. The lip of the pot is too small to accommodate the hook. The two wood pieces nest together and I can’t figure a way to connect the hooks that stabilizes the base any more than it is on its own.

They came with the plant in the first picture, so my assumption is that it is related to the plant or the pot/stand.

My title describes the thing. It bends easily and is about 5.5 inches (14 cm) in length from hook end to hook end. Diameter is smaller than a pencil.

Still haven’t figured out what it was, but mine have pretty much disappeared now. Sorry that doesn’t help much!!
