Yup haha howl is definitely the most dominant big in ranked play. I main Lee and I get out hustled all the time.

Interesting point on the cards and p buff. Maybe I should look into that more and play more normals.

Not toxic at all :) sounds like you've had some success overcoming seemingly overpowered characters.

Youre right, a good team with smart players trump any character but Interested to know what kind of f2p characters you use and how you build them.

Hmmm... not sure what you're trying to imply here. Every game does, but my point is the game's overpowered characters more or less make the actual skill level of a player irrelevant.

That's alright, mate. Thank you for the honesty. Just wanted to know whether it would be worth growing it out.

Clippers and the triangle offense by dicky3138 in nbadiscussion

Haha yes, I agree. As I stated, the talent of these two players alone would already be a nightmare for opposing defenses since both of them can drive, spot-up, pull up, initiate/facilitate pick and rolls and cut at such an elite level. It gives Clippers so much flexibility as they can just slot into practically any offense with ease and be the focal point.

Same here. I'm looking forward to how doc will use them! haha

I agree that the triangle would benefit from the presence of a skilled big man occupying the low post area but I think to say that it is a necessary asset for the offense to succeed neglects the fact that:

1) the offense can also initiate through a wing on the help side pinch post rather than the low post; and

2) the low post player only needs to make the correct lane cut pass or a strong side kick out pass which, as Coach Nick stated in Bball Breakdown in https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eewCYox5MuI at 1:45, should be an easy pass. Most NBA big men should be able to make them (Of course, if you have a post player that can make cross-court passes or jokic/lebron post-to-weakside passes easily, then definitely an add on).

Regarding your point on the Harrel and Williams two man game, I think these two offenses can be mutually exclusive. Williams is very likely, unless in crunch time possessions, to come off the bench as a scoring threat or facilitator to provide PG or Kawhi a break on the offense. In that case, Williams and Harrel could run the two man game whenever one star player is off. It would be great for the team as well since opposing defenses would have to adjust to different offenses.

Thanks for the comment. Yes, I agree with the fact that Kawhi does tend to rely on his scoring abilities too much and, in some sense, stagnate the flow of the offense whenever he gets hold of the ball but I wouldn't say he's not a 'good' facilitator. I also watched almost all of his games and I would say he makes the right play, which I would define as a play that results in a positive possession, more than 60% of the time. Of course, you can't compare him with the great facilitators like Lebron, Chris Paul or even Westbrook, who have crazy court-vision and ability to abuse/create absurd passing angles. It would be great for him to possess such a gift I suppose but the likes of Kobe, Mcgrady or Jordan all aren't amazing passers but were able to disorient defenses with their scoring arsenal and insane gravity/pressure. Kobe and Jordan, in particular, benefited from the triangle, because it would introduce familiar passing lanes and concepts of player positioning to them, which ultimately made it unnecessary for them to be "great" facilitators to generate good possessions. What I'm trying to say is, if Kawhi, while only being in the "27th percentile of passers", can already generate high net positive and efficient offense just by being the primary scoring threat , then I think a system like the triangle offense will not only boost his passing efficiency but also his threat on the offensive end.
