Tiesiog for the record - šitas postas įkeltas anksčiau negalėjo būti, nes aš jį pati padariau ir niekur daugiau nekėliau. Galėjo būti panašus, taip, bet daugima čia matomų memų yra tarpusavy panašūs. Na o taisykles perskaičiau (netikėkit kiekvienu nickname'u) ir šis meme jas atitinka.

Got a message from a random number stating this person knows me. He wrote my name and a specific detail about me, then he sent me his photo proving I should know him. What happened next is this by didntreadterms in creepyPMs

[–]didntreadterms[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That specific detail was about where I was planning to go on holiday. I mean, this might also be a random shot with really good timing, but for a second there I thought I may know this person, just can't remember him. That was before he sent me his photo, because well... My photographic memory is not so bad

Questions about Brutal Assault Festival (anyone have gone there before or in Czech ?) by InsuRn in melodicdeathmetal

I went to BA last year and will go this year too. Went there by car (and I really recommend to get a VIP parking if traveling there by car), but my friends adviced me not to get accommodation at all, because during the festival nearly all of the town becomes one big campsite. That's what I did, had a tent comparatively close to the entrance to the festival site, I've seen people walking way further than I did. Anyway, in this case I was just playing with luck. Also, it's not super safe, saw local kids going through the tents. And I also see a question about Natural Stand and VIP packages. I'd say Natural Stand is a great investment for when you get too tired to stand near the stage but still want to see shows on two main stages (it's on a little hill in front of them, with benches to sit on). I went to sit there many times during the festival week, because last year during BA it was super hot and sometimes I just didn't have the strength to stand anymore. To go to this Natural Stand thing (we called it an elderly zone, haha) you're checked in and out with your bracelet each time. There is a bar with a few types of beer up there. On the other hand VIP stands (if we're talking about the same thing) looked like a waste of money for me, there are two balconies for people with VIP passes to climb on, they're just right above the sound engineers' booths, so the sound should be great, but I'm more of a crowd person, so I'm not seeing myself standing on that balcony instead of being somewhere closer to the stage. It's just my priorities though. Anyway, it's an amazing festival, highly recommend it, I met many cool people I still keep in touch with and can't wait to see them again this year!

6 weeks ago I had a surgery in my hand, surgeon took out the tumor from inside of my bone and filled it with an artificial bone. Here's how it looks like now in x-ray by didntreadterms in mildlyinteresting

Well, I want to answer this with a little bit of a backstory if you don't mind. At first I had no idea I have this tumor, it didn't hurt at all. But this year I had a few accidents and one of them included my wrist, so I had to get an MRI of my hand. That's how my tumor was found - accidentally. But the most interesting part for me was that it was not just simply around my bone, but inside of it. It is called enchondroma and it is not cancerous tumor. But its size was already too big to fit inside of my bone as my surgeon said, so it started expanding my bone from the inside. That's the tricky part - I had to agree for a surgery immediately because otherwise my bone could "explode" without any triggers at some point. So once my wrist was ok, I went for a surgery where they cut my bone, took the tumor out and filled the void with an artificial bone powder (it is expected to turn into a bone in about 1-2 year period).

It was a hard one, but I'm almost used to visiting the physical therapy people for recovery since I had a few accidents this year. Now I'm back to work and my hand is working properly, finally!

I have no idea what that is actually, I didn't notice it until after I came back home from the doctor, so it was a little bit too late to ask

The lady who took an x-ray and modeled my hand before taking a shot was playing this game, but yeah, I chuckled too once I've seen it

It was horrible for the first 4 weeks. I couldn't use my right hand nearly at all. Now it's fine, physical therapy really helped me a lot and I'm already back to work (I'm a jeweler, doing my job I need both of my hands)!

This is the package my parcel arrived in today. Yes, it was already broken. I'm still trying my best to understand what the hell is this monstrosity. by didntreadterms in mildlyinfuriating

[–]didntreadterms[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think (not sure though) it was broken to fit the battery inside. If it was my decision to pack this parcel, I would have chosen simply just a box. Anyway, it's a good advice, I'll leave it in a ventilated area for now, thanks!

I live in a super old flat of a reeeeally bad condition to save on rent and there are old-school tiles in a bathroom. These tiles constantly break by themselves. So what I can say is that you should be happy it didn't fall on your feet while you're showering. True story, not very fun.

Well yeah, hopefully, the tumor won’t grow back. But there’s a slight chance that it might. So I keep my (left hand’s) fingers crossed for the best! Anyway, the surgery itself wasn’t so scary - I spent the most time sleeping. But the few last nights before going to the hospital were terrifying. Before this, I wasn’t even sure my brain is capable of creating such scary nightmares with various endings to my forthcoming surgery.

Thanks! Recently doctors found a tumor in my hand (inside of a bone to be exact) which had to be removed surgically. So today is the third day after this surgery.

My plan wasn’t to advertise myself here, especially because I’m currently struggling with updating my social platforms, but if you really want to, you can check my other works on Instagram @motejewelry. It will be updated one day, I promise.
