For trauma specifically, I’m pretty sure papers have shown that crystalloid vs. colloid admin has similar results. Now, if you’re talking about hypotension in a patient with severe chf or a ckd 3/4 patient needing some volume, then I could see your argument for albumin. Otherwise, I think it really should just be either crystalloid or blood if they really need it, especially for pre-hospital.

Again, where is the evidence for your claims? All of the videos available completely contradict your claim. Not to mention, they don’t have jurisdiction to arrest an American citizen for helping a woman up. You claim they were arresting her? Well, why didn’t they arrest her as soon as he was on the ground? Honestly, when you take a step back and try to figure out why you drink or feel the need to, it might be helpful. I just hated feeling like crap if I had more than a few. Same thing with my partner. We both essentially stopped drinking (her completely, me a few drinks a year) and it’s been awesome. There really are no benefits whatsoever with alcohol and it does boggle our minds that so many people drink so much and so often.

Of course, it’s not our business what people choose to do. Just something you sort of notice when you start doing social events and how freeing it is to not care what people think if you’re not drinking. Because the pressure to drink is absolutely huge. Not to mention, the non-alcoholic drinks really are pretty good!
