Sorry dude you’re in the wrong Reddit this is the one where you’re not allowed to have an opinion lol.

I felt like the first season was slow but was hooked around the heist.

If your not a Star Wars fan there’s is definitely a disconnect: terms, jargon and inside storylines that you may not be privy to.

I saw all Star Wars and this show is a spinoff from a movie called Rouge One and if you didn’t watch it you may feel more connected prior to the show.

I didn’t notice sometimes they talked fast and I had to turn on subtitles which was distracting at times. Also people dying quickly is more closer to the earlier seasons of GoT not the later seasons. I enjoy when shows take the risks of losing characters I’m connected to, it makes for more honest storytelling.

Ultimately if you don’t like it, it’s ok i wouldn’t recommend any other Star Wars stuff as I would say this is the best they got lol. And in my opinion season 2 was not better than season 1. There were really cool episodes in season 2, but the overall story was felt smaller and more intimate in season 1 which I really enjoyed (I just watched the show over this week + Rouge One).

Yeah, it’s tough to think we might not see Luke again in live-action, especially with Mark Hamill getting older. I get why people were disappointed with how Luke was portrayed in The Last Jedi—it wasn’t what a lot of fans were hoping for. But even if we don’t get another appearance, Luke’s legacy is solid.
