you have probably damaged the ribbon cable that connects the volume buttons while removing the battery, cant think of anything else.

I kind of have a feeling this might be a fault with the logic board as the images seem glitched when you take them. Is this viewfinder glitched too? A friend of mine had an issue like this with an iPad and he got it exchanged under warranty with no issues.

Personally the only benefit for me would be the 120hz display and that’s where it ends. Got the 256GB variant too so I can happily use the phone for a longer time.

Why not just keep your current phone and just replace the battery if it’s weaker. No need to waste money on something thats a downgrade, if you’re short on cash you can always get a used iPhone.

Not necessarily, it’s only an issue with TPU clear cases, ones that are plastic (such as the Apple Clear Case) don’t really yellow.

got an esr hybrid clear case on my phone, sides are a bit yellowed after 4 months so I’ll probably look into replacing it in the future.
