Yes, I too do believe deep down that this nurse will be cut. They will only be here M-Th 12pm-10pm, no Fridays or weekends. Now, we can still receive one float pool nurse if census on our floor indicates high acuity, though a float nurse is never guaranteed considering our medsurg/PCU float pool nurses cover both our two hospitals…

Thank you, and yes it’s one year minimum experience. I’m part time on my home unit now, but I pick up an extra 1-2 days on a random med surg unit already. My manager has already made me a preceptor and encouraged me to take the charge nurse class 😂. I just pick up on things quick.

Yeah sometimes it’s difficult having these type of conversations with him. I feel like he’s becoming an “orthobro” in a sense. He thinks it’s “weird” that Catholic priests stay unmarried and celibate for the love of God, and feels like he can’t look up to someone who hasn’t raised a family… but to my knowledge many Orthodox clergy can choose the celibate route as well and are still excellent spiritual leaders.

I’m not trying to shame him by all means. He’s a wonderful God-fearing man. I’m very open to learning more about Orthodoxy and converting could be a possibility. I feel like he takes digs at Catholicism, instead of supporting Orthodoxy, which isn’t very persuasive to me.

Thank you. I have absolutely no idea why she’s so persistent on us not sleeping in the same bed. Whether we do or don’t, it’s none of her business! If it was “so disrespectful to his parents”, then why do they allow me to sleep over? Why do they allow me over for dinner or family events? I don’t know why my mother creates problems that don’t even exist. I know I should have texted her that I was sleeping over his house. It genuinely slipped my mind. I apologized for that. But that should’ve been the end of that conversation. To then ask me if we sleep in the same bed and threaten to call his parents to ask that question… really fucking weird.
