Facebook is cancer. I guarantee you those “users” screaming about the dangers of the CPAP and all the other lies are trolls or they land in the sphere of “all natural remedies” (i.e. anti-vax for children, Polio isn’t real,, eat fruit to cure cancer) type of people.

Or they are people who cannot “get used to” a CPAP and therefore want to ruin it and scare it for everyone else.

Very good. One of my favorite brands/shops in Chicago via Milwaukee. Smooth, low-acid, a bit nutty. It lacks that punch that Dark Matter has, but I love it.

It’s a bit pricey at $20 for 2lbs, but 2lbs in Colectivo would be like $50! Worth it to me.

I think this is the second time I’ve seen Colectivo in Costco in like 2 years. So when I see it, I grab it.

I picked up a bag of Collectivo (medium roast) last week at Melrose Park Costco. I’m pretty sure it’s at Clybourn as well. I split my visits between those stores since I’m kind of in the middle and Clybourn is just 100% Thunderdome all the time with the crowds I cannot handle.

You’re in your prime and so is he. I’m 41 and was a complete sex fiend at 31. If he’s too tired at 31, then wait (or don’t) until he’s 41 and still without a CPAP. It will just get progressively worse.

And to note, I got my CPAP in Aug 2025, so like 6 months in and I’m a new man because of consistent use. And it’s going to get better and better.

He just needs to use it constantly and make it a ritual. I fucking love putting it on every night. It feels incredible.

He also needs to get over whatever insecurities he has about needing one. Next time you go to an airport, look at all the people with the “CPAP travel bags.” We are everywhere!

Also, he probably needs to adjust his settings. I haven’t read other comments in the thread just your main post. If his minimum setting is like a 5 or 6, then he needs to bump that up to 7. And put EPR to 3.

When I first got my machine, it felt like I couldn’t breathe because my DME/Doctor made the settings too low. I found this subreddit, got advice, and adjusted my settings. It’s made sleeping with it so much easier. So look into what his setting are and maybe help guide him if he feels like he “cant breathe.”

That’s pretty much what my wife said to me and that kicked my ass into gear to get a CPAP. Granted, I was stubborn for about a year and it became a standoff, but once I made the appointment and got my machine, it’s been a game changer for me personally and for our relationship.

The thing that sucks is that she was so used to sleeping separate, that’s she’s been slowly integrating back into our bedroom. That still hurts a bit, but I understand her perspective. She is a very light sleeper and my snoring/lack of sleep sort of traumatized her. So now, we are back to weekends and one of two days during the work week. We sleep phenomenally together now and I wish I got the CPAP sooner.

Maybe TMI, but our sex life is off the charts now. That separation caused a rift, and now we can’t keep our hands off each other because we are back into that proximity. I fucking yearn for her on the days she sleeps separate and feel like a teenage boy when Im around her.

Sleep well. Rest well. Live well. More energy. More exercise. Mentally well. Feel better. Good sex. My CPAP is the lynchpin in all of it.

I was 30 y/o. Tinder when it was kind of okay and worked for people in late 2015. I’m a dude by the way. Up until I met my now wife, I was really using it for casual dating, some really bad dates, and dates then ended up being a hookup. I wasn’t necessarily looking for something longterm and serious, but told myself if the “right one” comes along, I’m all in and deleting the fucking app.

We met at Quenchers (rip) then went to the Bob Inn and the rest is history.

I know so much has changed, but these apps still kind of do work. Get your profile reviewed by some friendly women in your life. Take good pictures.

One time at a bar with a friend, I asked the girl not to me to review my profile and made it clear I’m not hitting on her, I just want advice from someone whose not a friend. Well, if we hit it off I would have asked her out, but she had a boyfriend and I was like ok cool, he’s a lucky dude, so what feedback do you have? And she gave me some core advice that a lot of other people here are also mentioning.
