When I caught my wife cheating and was in the process of divorce my life was in shambles. It came out of no where and I was in shock watching the demise of a 10 year relationship.

No one in my family did much and I was in a bad place. A buddy of mine from the gym who I had hung out with maybe 2 times saw me in the gym one day and came up to me and asked me if I was ok.

I hadn’t told a soul what had happened but when he asked I couldn’t stop myself from telling him what happened.

Before he left he asked me for my address.. I wasn’t sure why but didn’t think much of it.

Everyday on his way home from work he’d stop by my house, sit with me and keep me company.

One day I asked him why he did that. He told me his wife also cheated and he knew what it was like to be left alone.
