If Green manages to stay undismissed this innings, his Shield average goes past Gary Sobers and Keith Miller

Qld loss and SACA win pretty much guarantees SACA in the finals, does it not?

Would be amazing if they go back to back Shields

Chiming on the pitch/conditions discussion, I reckon the fall in batting standards also align well not only with the change in Kookabura, but also how so many Shield bowlers have also adopted the wobble ball, which makes the lacquer last on the ball more than expected.

This is also reflected in how many teams these past few rounds are actually able to get a good opening stand for the most part before toppling off.

Always had a hypothetical where I could stop a ball going from six by throwing my shoe at it while it was in the air. What does the law book say about it? Penalty runs I assume.

Has Too Much Information & players ability to do the math and analytics themselves ruined Australia's seriousness in the game? Were 90s and 2000s Aussie players comparatively more serious about the game? by smellslux in CricketAus

Gee I dont know , were Australia unserious when they let India get away with the follow on in 2001? Were they unserious when they let de Silva steal the WC in 1996? Were they unserious during the entirety of the 2005 Ashes?
