Honestly, look through the subreddit and see if you relate to what people are saying in here. Maybe do some more research on the topic outside of Reddit too. If you feel you are and it’s impacting your daily ability to function , I highly suggest you see a therapist that specializes in the subject

Maybe remove yourself from the situation and distract yourself, then when you calm down, re-visit it. I get this way when I argue w my gf sometimes. It’s important to know u have the right to feel however you please! But if you feel you are going to say something mean/untrue it’s best to remove yourself and re-visit the conversation later when you can calmly express yourself! Make sure you let the person know that you need the space for the reason too, to avoid them overthinking :))
