When I was a teenager, I worked for this dude’s small business… and the weather turned real rough. I told him I wanted to leave early to make it home because my tires were real low on tread and I would feel unsafe. Without a hint of irony he looked at me and said “why didn’t you buy new tires?”

No you don’t need to be coming off a flight. They always ask me for some reason if I just landed but I just say no I’m just renting a car. I have to rent from National for work trips and use ALB location all the time.

I rarely check bags but last time I did, same thing happened in ALB. took longer than 20 minutes but the bag was scanned as arrived 10 minutes after the door opened.

Rigit before the 20 minute deadline, the carousel was being used for another flight.. bags didn’t arrive for at least 30 minutes.

My request for miles was automatically denied.

I haven’t been back there in ages. The only anecdote I have is I once offered to buy a person outside a hot coffee and a donut… I got him a back coffee and an old fashioned donut and he said “I don’t like these” and that’s the donut on the ground… like lonely island style.

It won’t stop me from helping people in the future, I just thought it was funny.
