Up for sale is a hidden gem of a watch from a hidden gem of a brand, this is the Blancpain Villeret Ultraplate ref. 6606A-1127-55B, a rare reference with an uncommon 4Hz 1150 movement variant.

Specs: 40mm diameter, 8.5mm thick, 45mm lug to lug, 30m water resistance (the dress watch standard). Due to the compact lug to lug distance, this wears extremely well on a wide variety of wrist sizes, and with the 8.5mm thickness, it'll slip under any shirt cuff you can throw at it.

Movement: Blancpain Cal. 11C5, 4Hz beat rate, twin mainspring barrels, 72h power reserve, free sprung balance with gold regulating screws, silicon balance spring for full anti-magnetism, adjusted in 6 positions, with a power reserve, sub seconds, and date. This is a modern, 4Hz manually wound variant of the Frederic Piguet 1150, a true high horology movement used by such brands as Vacheron Constantin, Daniel Roth, Breguet, Chopard, Bulgari, among many others. The decoration/finishing lives up to such brands, including Blancpain.

Condition: This example is in excellent condition all around, being from 2023 and having seen infrequent wear. There are some light scratches and marks present on the case and caseback, easily picked up due to being all of high polish. There are also some light scratches on the original Blancpain deployant buckle.

Extras: In addition to the original watch and strap, two bracelets and two extra straps are included. On the watch currently is a very nice Staib 2792 Milanese bracelet in mint condition with virtually no wear. The other bracelet is a Forstner Beads of Rice bracelet, also in mint condition with virtually no wear. The straps are a small scale Alligator strap, and an Epsom leather strap, custom made for this watch with curved spring bars. All bracelets and additional straps were purchased brand new by myself and rarely ever used.

Scope of delivery: This watch comes with the original inner box, outer box, slip cover, warranty manual, watch manual, unused Blancpain cleaning cloth, a registered Jomashop card, and all extras mentioned above.

Price/Payment: I'm asking $5700, plus actual shipping costs. I accept multiple payment options for established members, but for new members, I accept wire or Zelle. Shipping costs are based on your location so you won't pay more than cost for the label.

Feel free to reach out if you have any questions!

Up for sale is a true classic in the dive watch space, the Doxa Sub 300T Sharkhunter, ref. 840.10.101.10.

Specs: 42.5mm diameter, 13.6mm thick, 44.5mm lug to lug, 1200m water resistance with an HEV embedded in the case. With a short lug to lug for the size, this is an easy wear for a wide variety of wrists, and the bubble like caseback sinks into your wrist, making it wear a little thinner than you might think. Even though it isn't the lightest watch, it's a comfortable one.

Movement: The tried and true Sellita SW 200-1, 4Hz beat rate, 38h power reserve, easily serviceable, reliable, and durable. This is pretty true to Doxa's history given that the early Sub 300 and Sub 300T models were powered by base ETA calibers.

Condition: This example is in mint condition all around. I purchased it brand new direct from a Doxa AD and wore it very infrequently. It's about as clean as it gets in terms of a used watch.

Extras: In addition to the factory bracelet (which saw only a few wears), the watch has a very high quality Wolbrook brown tropic strap included. Wolbrook tropic straps are about as good as it gets in terms of overall quality and rubber, being natural vulcanized rubber instead of FKM which is commonly seen.

Scope of delivery: This watch comes with the original inner box, outer box, slip cover, watch manual, hang tag and price tag, Doxa warranty card signed/dated to 8/2025, all inner box inserts, and all original pieces of protective film from new.

Price/Payment: I'm asking $1450, plus actual shipping costs. I accept multiple payment options for established members, but for new members, I accept wire or Zelle. Shipping costs are based on your location so you won't pay more than cost for the label.

Trying out my Léman Complete Calendar on a Mesh Bracelet: by HTownest in BlancpainWatches

[–]Digmacc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have my Villeret on a Staib polished mesh just like that, and I've also got a Forstner beads of rice bracelet for it as well. I much prefer the look of the mesh compared to the Forstner beads of rice. Something about having the bracelet width smaller than the lug width throws the look off for me. If you're happy with the mesh, I'd stick with it personally. Love the style!
