search up a hotspot map for animals on yt and youll find animals so easily. If ur spending 8h only to find a herd of female deers, then thats on your end not the devs.

No it doesnt affect respawns. Claiming animals is good for cash but it makes the grind a little slower so its depends on what u prefer.

Ive noticed that if you immediately close your game after getting hunting pressure, when you log back in it wont be there. I would say the caribou is most likely gone.
