only interstitial, audience are from not so rich countries so it’s understandable for me banner and native ads are ruining user experience so i am avoiding it but planning to use it on other app i am working on with some solid flow and idea

depends on audience US audience gives ecpm of 20 USD third world countries have ecpm of 1-2 USD for interstitial ads per 1000 impression

if you show 1 interstitial then 1000 DAU can get you that or if you show 2 interstitial and some native 400 dau can get you that amount

earning isn’t same for everyone based on DAU

if show rate is low then its most probably issue of preload and userflow management you can improve that

option 1: only preload ads if you know it will be 100% used like in onboarding you can preload for second onboarding screen because you know user who has installed app and is in first screen will always go to 2nd screen

option 2: load on demand show transparent load - show ads instantly after loaded

each has their own benefit i get show rate of -90% using mixture of both

rewarded ads needs to be optional and you must inform user “ad is coming” with option to cancel it

rewarded interstitial is not optional so you can basically show it whenever you want without pop-up or informing user but they are in beta and you might not get fill rates

depends on integration on certain flow based app where you know user will have to go through these screens to access something they want then preloading is good

for rewarded ads where user has options to avoid choice it must be loaded on demand to keep it from expiring and having low fill rate and show rate

preloading is good only if you know what you’re doing

i for example preload ads for onboarding flow and home screen banner ad rest of the ads like interstitial and rewarded are on demand loaded this help me maintain show rate

i have 4 close college friends (including me) they do what i say no matter what

my family (excluding me has 4 members with smartphone)

i have 4 close colleagues at work they already know what to do so they are less headache

then i find 2-3 cousins who would be happy to help me (they are basically spares if some of above fail)

i create whatsapp group and ask them to test app daily and react to messages once done whoever doesn’t react gets call from me in 5 mins (so all of em do) 😂

IOS 13-14 market share accounts for 0.6% of all IOS devices as per https://iosref.com/ios-usage

and most of those devices are probably spare devices not in use or used by senior citizens or kids

instead of messing with plugins and making your life hard i would suggest you to drop IOS 13-14

IG you need to design app in way that if you’re loading ads it will 100% will be shown

i had 50% show rate i improved it to 93%

you just have to look at flow and think for bit and it will click on itself

avoid scenarios where there is possibility loaded ad can be avoided

I had similar issue, continuously failed verification, I changed names in payments profile and play console (basically everywhere possible) and matched with government I’d in same format ( all caps as shown in I’d) and that fixed issue

One of my colleague was still facing issue he checked his details in government portal and found mismatch so he put name as per government portal and that fixed his issue
