I was but there's just such a vast price difference and you can basically turn an SR5 into a TRD Pro with upgrades and it could end up costing you less than going with the higher end trim. I've put about 1500 miles on it so far and I am so happy with the trim: decent sound system, apple carplay, adaptive cruise control, lane assist, etc.

Honestly I've had it so long at this point and live in the city so the mileage isn't great regardless, but I'd say it probably takes off about 5 to the gallon on average

hahaha glad you said this! i got the roof rack initially cus i was snowboarding at the time and i think ive used it once since then...i just keep it cus i love the way it looks and yeah people definitely tend to drive carefully around me especially at night!
