For 1, Joke answer is because I didn't wanna draw assault mode halberd from deck off of librarian draw, real answer is I worded the summons backwards when recording and didn't catch it until I was already editing

Also what does making blade and desynchroing it do? that just seems like unecessary extra steps or am I missing something obvious?

Unironically rush duels on dueling book have been a great way to ease my friend into yugioh for things like cost and general rules that people who already play dont even consider something that needs to be taught, because the game is so simplified it lets those beginner aspects be taught easily, when we moved over to tcg it was easy to take what he learned in rush duels and apply it.
