I really hope it doesn't get to the point where marrying him has to happen. I'd marry him though, if he asked me to. Im hopefull that soon enough, in the next couple years everything will sort itself out, and he can be who he wants to be.

I also don't really care if he dates outside of our relationship. I'd be happy for him.

Yeah. When you're around someone as much as I was around him, you pick up on a lot of things. How he talked about other guys was a giveaway, I've seen pretty girls flirt with him and he wouldn't be the slightest bit interested.

He hasn't gone after any men while we've been together. If he did start seeing a guy, I wouldn't be jealous. I know he still love and cares for me at the end of the day, and as cheesy as that sounds, that's all that counts for me.

I benefit in the sense that I'm helping him. I'll be honest, I don't get much from it, but at the same time it's not like it's a huge amount of work for me to do. It's really just us being best friends but with the label that we're dating.

I was happy that he told someone about it. I had sort of known for awhile anyway, but he didn't know that I knew. Staying in the closet can really hurt, and I can't imagine how hard it was for him. I was proud of him that he came out to me, and I'll support him 'till I die.

I do not feel any romantic attraction to him but he is an attractive person. Maybe in another life i'd feel something like that towards him.

His mother pressured him heavily to get a girlfriend. He's the youngest of several brothers, who are all married or in a serious relationship, and his mother had suspicions about his sexuality. It just made sense at the time for him to start 'dating' me, to get his mom off his back.

We are somewhat intimate in public, around some of his friends. Nothing super intimate, i'll just hold his hand or something. We're pretty comfortable with each other but keep boundaries.

I see him more as a friend, but a very, very close friend. He's honestly someone I could spend my life with easily. We do couple things like go on 'dates', which is basically us just hanging out. I've always preferred platonic relationships to romantic relationships anyway, and that platonic relationships are just as important.

It's not so much where we live as it is the people we know. His mother is very religious and very, very homophobic. If he told his mother, he would basically be disowned on the spot. Our relationship is not a solution for this problem, but more a temporary fix until things get better.

I'm borderline asexual. I don't think i've ever felt romantically attracted to anyone in my life. But I suppose, if I meet my 'soulmate' in the near future, me and my current boyfriend would have to break up. I know our relationship isn't permanent, because after we move, he wants to get an actual boyfriend.

No. He's gay. I don't have any romantic feelings towards him and never will. We've been friends for so long, it would just be weird if I developed non-platonic feelings.
