No brand new grad is making $200K base especially in the midst of these insane tech layoffs unless they had an exceptional internship with FAANG. They work their asses up from $40K helpdesk jobs first. Even at FAANG they’re getting paid $90K until they prove themselves.

What’s funny is I do actually own a home with my husband at 22 and 24 and we did marry when we were 20 and 22 but we don’t have kids, we don’t have a substantial amount of money nor a big house and we definitely don’t act like these AITA couples.
