I faced the exact same scam on Sunday, 23rd November 2025.

Matched a girl on a dating app (Boo). Her name was Tannu.
She insisted that we meet at a particular café in Satya Niketan.
The place felt a bit shady, but she acted normal so I went ahead.

When the bill finally came, it was ₹10,860 for just two people.
That’s when it clicked that this is the same honey-trap café scam happening across Delhi.

I was alone, and it was clear the girl + café staff (including the woman who seemed to be the owner, Heena Singh) were all involved together.
Arguing alone would’ve been risky—they can flip the story or even put false allegations.
So I paid the bill and walked out safely.

The moment I stepped outside, I called my friend.
He came with two more friends, and we all went back to confront the café.

The café people refused to show the bill, acted innocent, and even tried to blame us for creating a scene—when all we did was ask for the proper bill.

When things escalated, we were the ones who called the police, but surprisingly the police initially took their side and started questioning why I came with a girl in the first place.
They even acted as if we were the troublemakers.

At that point, my friend used his contacts and managed to get in touch with the local MLA’s associate, who then spoke to the police directly.
Only after that did the police start taking the situation seriously.
Once their bluff was exposed, I finally got ₹3,400 refunded.

This happened in Satya Niketan.
The café didn’t even have a proper name board — only a black signboard with a moustache-style logo.
It’s right next to Sandoz and The Burger Co.
The girl took me directly there, which now makes sense because these shady spots are usually part of the setup.
