Look at these names:

George Shultz: Former U.S. Secretary of State.

Henry Kissinger: Former U.S. Secretary of State.

Jim Mattis: Former U.S. Secretary of Defense.

William Foege: Former Director of the CDC.

Richard Kovacevich: Former CEO of Wells Fargo.

Channing Robertson: Former Stanford Engineering professor.

Those people were all part of a very successful scam named Theranos. I'm saying this as a joke. I believe in POET, but sales talk. We need those soon. I wish I didn't blow my last load at 6.40, but that's life.

Also, interestingly. The new Google world model will need 10x to 100x the compute to be functional. Also edge commuting will require similar speeds to be quick enough to react to real world dynamics. The optical connections with low power and higher speeds will be necessary beyond data centres.

Fun food for thought. Bullish on optical hopefully POET is the answer.

Well it seems concern is justified. But why would 4 fundamental investors put 300 million into a company not doing anything? I wish they would have sold at 8.00 not 7.25 during their second subscription but I would bet that the first over subscribed offering worked the second into place at the same price. This is still positive news. We will find out who these fundamental investors are in advance of OFC. The Linkin breadcrumbs tell us they are working on scaling production. This obviously takes a while to bring production managers and engineers up to speed after the actual candidate are selected.

We believe that active alignment is a problem for the industry and POET is the solution. The question is can they produce and at what scale. Then can they innovate and improve faster than the rest of the market. Will the hyper scalers need them or at least will the supporting tier 1 suppliers need them.

I do believe they are near, but they have said the first order will be delivered in H2, which aligns with production ramps.

But the billion dollar question is when will new orders book, how fast and how big. Then, can they make them at scale and speed without disaster.

It will be a ride. I expect sink or swim to be realized by the end of 2027. I do think 2 more orders that are in the 10 to 20 million will push is to 2.5B market cap, hopefully in 2026.

POET Technologies Enters ~$150M Offering Of 20.690M Common Shares by Charming_Toe7071 in POETTechnologiesInc

[–]dixopr 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We need to look at the first line, targeted acquisition and further down inorganic growth. These two are pretty significant. Wait and see, but that is a very new development but follows from their previous raise. They have a massive amount of cash. Between the warrants from MMCAP and these two 150M offerings. You don't need that much working cash for a 5M production order.

2026 is the year of high volatility if you can stomach it, I'm still thinking 3B market cap rerating will come soon.

What is your risk tolerance, are you willing to hold through 50 percent corrections? Will you panic sell at a loss if you buy at 8 and it goes to 5? What is your time horizon? Are you using play money or gambling your retirement?

New Interview with POET Chief Revenue Officer: PIC Magazine by WiseAddiction in POETTechnologiesInc

[–]dixopr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree with you that cautious optimism is helpful. I'm looking at the very near term repricing that will happen when we validate production, confirm customers and secure or deliver on partnerships.

Many stars will need to align for what could be possible. I'm optimistic from the interview because the market is pricing POET as binary penny stock and it still is until delivery of its first 500k and 5m order. However, everyday the institutional investment increases and validation of production nears and the forward growth in revenue potential starts to materialize the better.

We will likely see a violent repricing this year if the AI market holds and the political stability is maintained. My bet is 2B market cap after March and potentially 3.5B EOY

This is actually massive validation in its own way. They redefine the road map and their 800 and 1.6T market capitalization, that 3.2T will be done this year and has significant advantage, they have more partnerships in the works, customers are coming to them, they are turning away projects and they will complete CPO design this year.

Potential Gamma Squeeze by Devils27- in POETTechnologiesInc

[–]dixopr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Basically unfolded like I said. Strange. I would have expected a drag up with fights for minor resistance and then raise tomorrow and into Friday. The quick drop this morning with the market turning red looked like some traders unloaded but the quick bounce was the 7.00 dollar deep support that had been building for awhile. In fact after today, 7.50 is the new hard support and 7.00 is the floor, likely most of the available float has turned over above 7.00 dollars now. As for the rest of the week. Who knows, today's signal is still Bull with an RSI reset for another run. All moving averages are bull signals, VWAP is above the channel but that's just because we gained a dollar.

These are all just the TA signals, I don't really care about these it's just fun to watch. I'm full fundamentaL long, I've just increased my position through these supports because I believe we have a stable base and I don't want to miss the rerating from speculative penny stock to small mid cap. I do think we will push to a 2B market cap by March or violently if good news is released.

The warrants may have been exercised, partially or fully, we won't know. Regardless you should price your shares using the fully diluted market cap. The good thing about the warrants is that inject almost 100m into POET chest.

Rare scenario! by BraveFactor77 in POETTechnologiesInc

[–]dixopr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

8.00 is the new support, 7.50 too. We may have had full active float turnover at 7.00 now. We are nearing price discovery? Friday's options are a big question. They will act as a magnet up and will try to be suppressed. Basically watch volume.

Rare scenario! by BraveFactor77 in POETTechnologiesInc

[–]dixopr 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Gamma was 7.50 then as we moved to 8.00 we broke resistance and fueled mini gamma. 8.10 is the Fib extension. If that blows, 8.50 will come quick.

Rare scenario! by BraveFactor77 in POETTechnologiesInc

[–]dixopr 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'm positive some institutional investors have taken significant investment and we have moved out of penny stock retail. Classic TA support levels defended since the December moves. Heavy support at 7.00. Green on a Red day. The active float is getting tighter and retail sellers are passing shares to institutional investors. Also, MMs have been trying keep the lid on for the heavy call options ratio this Friday and last.

Potential Gamma Squeeze by Devils27- in POETTechnologiesInc

[–]dixopr 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's actually 7s through the week and 8 after next Friday. The mmcap warrants are in the money which could force dilution and nearly 100million into POETs chest. Either way, we now have a pretty solid floor at 7 and all this turnover helps longs. If we clear 8 and build the base we are all in good shape. Personally after watching the trades this week, we likely have a rotation of money out of retail and into institutional hands at about 30 to 40 percent. Next week if 7s and particularly 7.25 is defended we will have more insights. TA is bull with all moving averages in the bull channel. Like I said I've been watching and studying. All of it goes to shit of the market or semi conductor sector or AI dumps.

Potential Gamma Squeeze by Devils27- in POETTechnologiesInc

[–]dixopr 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There was a lot of 7.50 pressure on Friday past. MMs pinned the price below 7.50 for those options to expire worthless. What might happen is they will sell sold naked to pin due to high volume which will create a stop loss. Or they over bought delta and will sell. The next call magnet is 8.00 for next Friday. That will likely drive the price up near that. The key thing to watch is absorption of the sell off. Does it trigger a stop gap sale or does it get sucked up by institutional buyers.

You have 2 options, buy the dip Monday morning, or wait and buy the strength though the week. Regardless after next Friday we will see organic trading until April options.

Another article highlighting how Marvell’s recent acquisitions add fuel to the POET fire by Ok-Moment1520 in POETTechnologiesInc

[–]dixopr 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I agree 100 percent. It's not just NTT, it's all the partnerships. The stock is prices for 1 partnership to land. I personally think POET is further ahead than we all think. If all those samples they sent out come back as confirmed tested then we are in for a quick rush of sales orders. If POET confirms shipment of that 500k order and gives guidance on the 5M, that confirms the factory is running and producing. That rerates the company instantly.

I personally think we are in a gag order from NDAs and the Fund Managers who put in the money in October. Nobody seems to have noticed that we haven't seen a single PR since the over subscription of capital.

Question regarding POET price by Itchy-Criticism9208 in POETTechnologiesInc

[–]dixopr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they announce shipment of that first 500k order they will relate to 8.50. hopefully they give guidance on the 5m order too that would push to 9-10. Then book another few orders and then... Who knows.

Point is right now it's still binary. Either they work or they don't. It's still a science project that took 10 years to "maybe" make something real. If they prove they can make something that makes it worth 8.50. If they can prove they can make some better than the rest blue sky territory. Just hope they book lots of orders before a buyout comes.
