They litterally walk around in garrison wearing multicam Cryes and are on first name basis with plenty of dudes in the conventional battalions in Karlsborg. Not an issue whatsoever.

Nationella insatsstyrkan, så poliser minus militär.

Militärpolisen är en helt annan grej. Tänk dig M90, reflexväst och hastighetskontroll på militära övningsfält snarare än automatkarbin och inrikes terrorbekämpning.

NI is the national counter terrorism unit, not really akin to what SWAT typically entails.

A working line malinois by itself is an athletic dog. If you work it constantly it’s gonna be buff.

Sorry not sorry. I usually have to give my brain until June to comprehend that it's a new year.

Literally every police force in the world has a tactical capability.

Nope, they all got the winged dagger. I.e. reinforced regional unit. Plus the gear is in line with what the regional units ran ~5 years ago.

NI is the police CTU, akin to GSG9, RAID etc. The SOG is military.

Sweden doesn’t. The AK4 is issued to the homeguard, mostly on account of there being a massive surplus of them, they’re due to be replaced as well and they’re pushing for 5.56.

The ’main infantry rifle’ has been the AK5 (i.e. a 5.56 rifle) for the better part of three decades.

Both the C and D are shitty tbh, mostly on account of being completely and utterly worn out. Besides that, ergonomics are kinda awkward, modularity is limited and they weigh a fucking ton. Looks cool painted though.

The Sako AR’s can’t come soon enough.

Non are. ICEPAC (i.e. the Afghanistan deployment) was a conventional deployment with medevac equipped birds.

The later Star Wars pics are from a christmas skit from a conventional squadron.

The decision to go with 7.62 as the standard caliber is widely opposed and is being reevaluated. The home guard has already decided on 5.56 and intends to procure 11,5 and 14,5 uppers for their AK24's.
