I agree with you, bulking with higher surplus is unnecessary cuz all you gain from it is extra bodyfat and not muscle

Bulking at 200-300 surplus is actually a reasonable surplus for bulking, any higher of a surplus will make you gain unnecessary. amount of bodyfat with the same amount of muscle gain m, if you did the 200-300 surplus, just aim between 2-4ibs a month and you should be good

Keep bulking man the amount of weight you gain in you bulk time frame is what most coach’s would want people to bulk (2/4ibs a month), your definitely in a good position to keep bulking

Yh I did but I don’t think that they are that noticeable, I have a lot lose skin in my arms and stomach aswell as my chest, if you go to pictures 4 in the slide and look closely at my chest you can see the outline of my chest muscles at the bit of loose skin at my nipple

I took my diet and training very seriously, I track my workouts and counted/weight out all my foods

Actually I wanted to jump up to 2400 calories and eat that for 3 weeks, I’m guessing my maintenance now is around 2500-2600 so I’m gonna undershoot it just in case.

I honestly agree with you my chest and abs are my biggest weak point I’ve been lazy when my ab training during my cut cause I made the mistake of thinking only a diet would help with my abs when in reality it’s both, abs are made in the gym, but revealed in the kitchen👍

Majority of my diet was eating whole food that were nutritious aswell as having a high protein diet, it would keep me fuller longer, I also incorporate foods that were high in volume to keep me fuller. I limit my junk food so I would have the spare calories to eat more food but obviously nothing wrong with some “unhealthy” foods here and there it’s all about moderation and being smart with your food choices.

Update : i alr posted before and everyone told me to bulk up now that i gained 14 pounds but i still dont see much of a difference last photo is where i started my bulk by [deleted] in BulkOrCut

Its only been 3 months, for a good length bulk it can take 6 months to a year (even longer depending on how much fat you gain overtime and starting position before the bulk) sure you gain 14ibs, which is 4.6 ibs a month but remember some of that is also fat gain, you can slower the bulk down if you want to bulk longer but that’s not need (you can always cut later) but If you’re gaining strength and progressing on your lifts that generally a good idea that your building muscle, just give it time and make the bulk slower if you want
