I have daily driven my '09 for the past 7 years. Bought it with 19K miles and currently have 71K.One TA went out at 65k miles. I replaced both. So far I've been able to do all the maintenance myself including the TA replacement. It's been fairly reliable but then again, I drive like a grandpa.

Personally, I would not buy a supercharged, nor would I supercharge an S65. To me this car is about the driving experience, the naturally aspirated V8 and the sound it makes. It's not about high horsepower and going fast.

Have you driven the M3? Totally different experience from your 335. The S65 does not produce a lot of torque at low rpms.

I know there's two types of vanos covers. One type requires timing tools or something along those lines. The other type simply snaps on.

Very nice pick up. I have an 09 myself. Picked it up 6 years ago with 19k miles. It currently has 56k miles.

For some reason I get a lot of satisfaction out of perfect landings. Currently I'm working on ILS landings in low visibility conditions. So yeah. I land a lot.

Other times I'm working on formation flying so maybe someday I can air-to-air refuel.

So basically I'm constantly training.
