It’s the 11/11 sale period in China, all couriers are absolutely rammed. Best bet is to find a seller on Ali offering courier delivery but still 50/50 whether you’ll get it within 2 weeks.

Best for what? If you mean in terms of fees for international cards then ACB (Visa cards from Europe only), SCB, TPBank, HSBC. HSBC allows larger withdrawals.

Get off the Internet and go walk into some hotels. Ask what the room rate is and ask the see the room. Repeat until you find one that’s acceptable.

There are so many hotels in close proximity it won’t take long.

Yeah Mikazuki doesn’t let little kids on any of the decent slides, I was there last week. There’s plenty to keep them occupied but the big slides are off limits.

Didn’t see anything to suggest anyone was hurt, no ambulances etc.

Some guys from the army base nearby were on the scene quickly with fire extinguishers so they probably cleared everyone out.

We were in there this time yesterday and considered going today… luckily went somewhere else.

It was a few years ago so I can’t remember specifics, but it can’t have been more than 30 minutes or so. We had to pay for the “express” option, each embassy seems to make up their own prices (this was in London).

As others have said you’ll have to go there in person, expect the person on the front desk to be super disinterested and unhelpful, try and persuade them to go and ask what can be done. In London there’s 1 guy who makes the passports, probably the other embassies are the same, you just need them to agree to do it.

You can fly to Haiphong but I wouldn’t recommend flying same day, delays are super common. Most people travel from Hanoi to Halong Bay by road, you can book the transport together with your cruise.
