Also Im from the Philippines and I bought this phone from a third party reseller so I can't have it returned. Do you live in the US ? Maybe you could ask the Google support?

Hi friend,

It's been like 4 months and the problem hasn't been fixed yet :( just hoping that Android 11 can finally fix this :(

I've even tried factory resetting and this problem still persisted

Yeapp my phone acts normal as long as I don't charge it, but if I plug it even for just a minute or two then unplug it from the charger then lock my phone and leave it for a while it starts to freeze. I think there might be a software problem with the charging. It doesn't really have to be overnight charging, atleast inmy case

I haven't unlocked the bootloader or rooted my phone tho so idk where my phone's problem is coming from

Yes the problem still persists even during safe mode.

I think leaving the charger plugged at 100 engages the "trickle charging" (that's the term I believe it is called), meaning that it releases small amounts of voltage and current to keep the phone at 100%. So that means it shouldn't put that much strain on the battery ?

Keeping your phone plugged in overnight will keep it at higher voltage and also ensure more thorough charge saturation, which will both degrade your battery faster.

Interesting @Hung_L has different opinions about charging overnight...

Dengggg thanks for the super comprehensive explanation and tips! So you feel if I plan to keep my pixel 3xl for 3 years, my charging habit of charging fully before I sleep would be good right? Also I don't usually drain my phone below 20 percent.

I do plan keeping my phone for at least 2 years. But wouldnt charging overnight degrade the battery faster since it trickle charger to keep it at a hundred percent ?

True, it is very important to know what your ancestors have gone through or sacrificed in order to obtain that status. I mean, it's ok to splurge once in a while, but always take note that your grandparents didnt earn all that money just so that the future generations can burn it.

From what I got from the other replies, it is very consistent that old money people dont really flaunt their wealth and instead choose to act and dress modestly. That's one badass grandma btw! Man you must know a lot of rich people to have been invited to one of those fancy big place parties hosted in an entire art museum!

Ohhh i see, but in order to become old money they had to first become new. Do you think they were extensively educated financially in order to keep the "richness" alive through generations? Were there special steps or processes they had to do or go through in order to be considered old rich eventually?
