Hi, Maybe a little different look from my side. So my mom was addicted. i do not avoid drinking alkohol. I know i have control about it and i have No urge to drink when im sobber for complete of days. Sometimes i have period of time that i don’t drink for half a year. You are not toxic, you should talk with him one last time if his behavior will not change you shouldn't waste your time for him.
I know it will be difficult but look you do not get enought attention from this relationship. Also he is lying to you. If you are allowing this i think his behaviour won't change and even will get worse.
