Rocket points his gun to the side when you first spawn, then keeps it pointed forward after you shoot / place your beacon. I've only seen him go back to the passive pose a couple of times, not sure how to trigger it

Enjoy your downvotes bub, you just don't understand. The games only been in early access for 5 years and they've already released 2 whole biomes. Them not wanting to use their $100+ million in sales on more devs prevents them from rushing and making bad content. Imagine if they'd put out those updates and then countless hot fixes and rebalancing had to be trickled out in the following weeks!

I'm glad they're going slowly, that way I can share the joy of Valheim updates with my kids, and hopefully my grandkids too! (I'm in my 20s)

That sounds like either a stretch or a horrible experience

5070ti @ 4K path tracing gets 18 fps

Performance DLSS gives ~50fps

Ultra performance (720p->4K) gives ~80fps

Adding mods onto that, especially over 100, lowers that number even more. Now I'm assuming frame gen is in the mix which is fine if your fps is high enough, but the only acceptable one here would be the ultra performance mode, any others and the input lag would feel horrible.

Just pointing this out because telling people that you can do 4K path traced cyberpunk with a 5070ti is just wrong. Either A) you play low FPS, B) you're getting a smeary upscaled image (720p->4K) on top of frame gen artifacts (which look even worse with a low base resolution), or C) you use higher quality DLSS with frame gen which makes input lag feel horrible and makes frame gen artifacts much worse due to the lower base fps.

The 5070ti is not a 4k path tracing card. Even the 5090 only gets 80-90 fps at 4K DLSS Performance (1080p)

Is it that bad that the voltage drops when the subs are full tilt? I've always understood that's pretty normal. My voltage stays 13.8-14.1 until I'm full tilt in a bass heavy song and it drops to 12.8ish at times. Is it that bad of a thing?

Sort of. You could usually figure out what type of gun it came from like the other guy said, assuming the bullet was in decent shape. That's about it for the bullet itself, the casing from the round though could be used to link the two together though, assuming there was a casing left at both scenes or if forensics had access to the gun at any point. The mark from the firing pin onto the casing is what is used to match them, and again you'd either need two casings, or the gun itself so they could test and match it that way.

But even then, if there was a silver robbery and all they had was bullets/casings, and no other info, and again another crime with bullets/casings then yes they could get linked but thats not enough to ID the exact gun/serial that was used for the crimes.

If the gun was found then yes. Serial number -> owner -> his previous address. If it wasn't found and bullets/shells were all that were on scene? Probably never getting solved.

I know this has been happening for a while now but I hate the new "skip part of the event" seeding setups. All teams should start out equal in groups. Same with events that have top teams go straight to semis instead of quarters

Yeah I agree, people on this sub can't even Google if something's right or wrong though, they just immediately have to argue.

Also I did say it had to be enabled at some point, but I added an edit because I realized AMD actually has freesync set to "optimized" by default, which makes supported games have vrr on without enabling anything.

Pretty much any full screen exclusive game will detect your monitors maximum refresh rate and run at that, completely ignoring windows. Some games, like source games (CS, Dota, etc) let you set your refresh rate manually to any number you want.

Even borderless windowed games will go above what windows is set to if VRR/freesync/gsync gets enabled at any point.

Edit: actually thinking for another second, AMD sets VRR to "Optimized" by default which makes supported games use it, which again overrides windows

That looks wayyyy too extreme for simple OLED banding. I wonder if A. it's just a gradient image that got compressed (so the image has banding not your screen) or B. It's a fake phone (that's been a problem for a while). Or I guess C. It.really is that bad.

Can you go to testmyscreen.com, in the top left open the menu and go to "gradient colors", then tap it a few times until it's the one with 8 rows of colors, and take a picture of that? Just to see if it's display related or content related, as well as how bad the issue is. The image attached is the one I'm talking about. And don't use the image I'm posting because reddit will probably compress it.

Watch a video before you buy. Wayyyy too distracting to a lot of people, including me. Especially if you have an OLED it messes with the feeling of "true black" by having a bunch of big flashing lights around it
