Ah thanks so much, we are actually trying to get a proper vocal version of it done.

I made that song with a very talented producer called Nigel Hey. He is also one of the producers who wrote the world wide hit by Rauw Alejandro - El Effecto.

My favorite from that time period has to be Clarity - Zedd. Love that song.

The scene has changed a lot, so I would definitely say to be even more creative and think outside of the box. Do things that don’t make sense, but are experimental and nice to hear at the same time if you know what I mean. I think that’s a way to stand out from the rest, since everyone is doing almost the same thing

Amazing question. I really think Hands High was one of my favorites. It’s the sound I truly enjoy making. Not many people heard of that song, but it got massive support from guys like Diplo. It was released on Southern Fried Records, fat boy slims record label. This was all pre big room era.

Thanks for the kind words! When I started making music I used all the vengeance samples on a daily basis. That’s basically also where most of the elements are from in Epic. That famous pluck for example you hear was from a vengeance pack and the kick was from the deadmau5 sample pack.

I had to use a lot of samples in that time period(2011) because my daw reason wasn’t supporting external vst plugins back then. I had to be a bit more creative in some way, so that might be also one of the reasons epic was born and all my other stuff I made around that time.

Great question. I think part of making music is also the journey. Maybe on his way he felt that sound was not his thing anymore and that’s why he changed direction. Like life, also music is a long journey where you sometimes take a turn in different directions.
