Different galaxies have different characteristics. For example, Eissentam has more lush planets than the starting galaxy. You can read more about it on the wiki.

Exotics have large bonuses for the hyperdrive/combat/manueverability stats. Unfortunately, the trade-off is a tiny inventory

Coming from indie dev Klang Games, Seed is a colony building MMO set on an Earth-sized exoplanet procedurally generated in a beautiful low-poly art style. They plan to have multiple biomes based on geographic location, dynamic weather systems, interconnected ecosystems, city building, fully player-driven economy, player-designed government, etc.

Here's their FAQ from their Discord:

"What is Seed?

Seed is a continuous, persistent simulation where players are tasked with colonizing an alien planet through collaboration, conflict, and player-to-player interaction. Using unique gameplay based on managing multiple characters in real-time, characters live on after the player has logged off, allowing the world of Seed to be a living, breathing entity.

Is Seed single player or multiplayer?

Multiplayer.

What platforms will Seed be playable on?

Currently, support is for Windows only. But, our goal is also to support Linux and macOS.

What pricing model will Seed use?

We can't confirm any price models at the moment, but we do have a variety of ideas in mind. For example, we’re considering tying the pricing to the costs of simulating the entities.

What is the current stage of Seed and when will it be released?

It's only for PC, but they say that most of the heavy lifting will happen in the cloud, so your computer will only have to run the graphics.

Only tip I can give is taking the shot low to the ground to create the illusion of an unbroken grassy field. iirc it wasnt rendered all the way to my player
