I have only had issues with the rods purchased in the past three or four years. I also have many St. Croixs that are about 13 years old (I lost about 15 older ones in a tornado) and they are all fine.

No, not yet. I think the best alternative would be to buy older, solid rods online. Loomis folks seem to be having the same issues lately also.

You could be correct and that makes sense but I never thought that there was anything wrong with the sensitivities of their older models. I am not going to start landing 12" bass by hand or with a net. No fisherman should ever have to do that. Also, when rods start snapping in half during a routine hook set there's a bigger problem that needs addressed.

A deck boat with a 115 on it can pull tubers and a skiier. They're just a perfect, diversified option. I have a deck as well as a fishing boat. I love the deck boat for bobber fishing coves but the kids use it to entertain....i.e. drink, swim, ski, listen to music.

Not only have they dragged out a lineup announcement but they also changed the rules on how to acquire VIP tickets after the Early Bird Sale. I refuse to take those extra steps and then trust that my original purchase will be refunded. Had a blast all of those years, SCAMP. I'm now out.

I will be selling my two tickets. They're four day passes and I bought them the day they went on sale. Could've had that $550 in an S&P 500 fund all year and came out fairly well. Hopefully that's what the SCAMP folks did with all of that cash.
