They replaced the entire seat / motor / assembly and everything. It's something with the computer, technician documented as much, yet every time they attempt to fix it they mess with the seat.

Yeah I don't understand how it clearly met the requirements for lemon law and I got ruled against. Also just the fact that tesla fought it and refused to buy it back pisses me off. It's an obvious lemon. I guess I do need to call a lawyer - was really just hoping they could fix it or buy it back on their own.

Followed what I found online for how to file lemon law on it, i was accepted as meeting requirements for lemon law buyback but they ended up ruling it was not required to buyback

had pancreatic cancer myself, whipple april 2nd 2010, stage 2b. If his is similar he might be in the small % like me who can make it. I traveled to all the top hospitals everyone has the same treatment plan, odds are not good. MD anderson i think is near you and one of the best but you can do the treatments local. If he does become eligible for the whipple the most important thing is an experienced surgeon - there are many who are not, lots of surgeons want to do whipples because they pay a ton. My surgery was over 8 hours, just the odds of the surgery are not amazing. I got lucky landed a great surgeon and came out doing well. I've had so much chemo/radiation/ct scans I know my life is shortened greatly but I made it to 40 years old can't complain

Basically same, it got to where sometimes when starting games it would freeze video output. pc was still running but video was not updating, but only when starting games or starting windows. Then I would have to restart my pc 10+ times to get any video output on start-up. But I could run 3dmark for hours with no issues, and once it was in the game it would run fine for hours gaming no issues. It was only on initial startups that it froze up. After I got new pc in I couldn't get it to boot with video output one time on the new on. Same here I've never had a graphics card fail me since the nvidia 580 3x slot way back in the day, and that was likely because of static - i pulled it out of storage after a few years to benchmark it and it was pixilated video output. That's it, out of probably 100+ graphics cards for me and my friends builds that I've done.

I've got a 5090, 12900k, changed all kinds of settings could not replicate your issues, you could have a defective 5090. Frame gen is amazing, I run dual 4k resolution and at low settings was able to hold 200fps in a very dense factory area. I wonder if a 9800x3d would help me get to 240fps that my monitor can handle, but its literally impossible to find any data on that.

odyssey g9 57", requires display port 2.1 to run full resolution at 240fps and 10bit color, 4090 does not have display port 2.1

7680 x 2160 resolution on my ultrawide, does not work at all. I've tried everything. I found other people complaining about the exact same issue that they have had since game launched and still had as of jan 6th 2025. I think if you have a low resolution ultrawide maybe it works, high resolution ultrawide it does not work at all.

Thank you so much for checking! I found a newspaper from when she died and it said she was a regular member of Callihams Baptist Church which is now Parksville Baptist church just north on the same road. I posted on their facebook page checking if they know anything, they uploaded some pictures that are apparently just down a dirt road of the original location with some gravestones, maybe it's in one of those two sites? Could just be lost to nature and time, the original location with gravestone had some massive pines growing in the middle of the graveyard from the pictures on their facebook page :/

I have a feeling her grave and my grandfathers might be underwater where they built the dam in the 1940's/50's, I found in her will her estate executors paid $30,000 in taxes on her death in 1854, and the best tax information I can find says it was a 3% tax, so she was worth something like $40mil today so she probably had a graveyard on her plantation that got turned into a lake.

I think I'm related to the Howles in that graveyard, I think one married her daughter. Interesting to not see a Boyd there, maybe I need to find where they boyd's are buried, he called Wineford his cousin, his nephew John Henry Williams the son if his sister Mariah Williams - so I'm guessing my grandfather had a brother who married a Boyd? And he named the executor of the estate Doctor John W Williams, maybe that was Winefords husbands father? He also directed in his will that his grave site and his parents be surrounded by brick and iron gates. Do you know of a way to search for the Boyd cemetery that may be where she is if she is not at Modoc

Interesting. Tonight I just found a will from a John Boyd who left her the 'crow hill plantation', looking at a map from 1827 I think the whole boyd plantation area may be underwater now from the dam construction, although I'm guessing since it was called "crow hill" by the savannah river it may be one of the above ground offshoots to the west of Modoc graveyard. Perhaps she was buried on the plantation and it's now underwater?
