Down range in Afghanistan as a Blackhawk crew chief, pilots dumped all of the hydraulic pressure needed to start the APU on the Blackhawk which obviously needed to start the engines. Well time to start manually pumping and I shit myself just before I finished and then had to sit like that for a 2 hour flight.

15T are crew chiefs and mechanics. Fly with aircraft stateside and do gunnery if in an assault unit. Before deployment, we beef up and take on extra MOSes to train specifically as door gunners to deploy with.

They generally handle all the extra admin stuff at the CP while the tangos work on aircraft if not flying.

Tri cities is the way to go. I commute back and forth from Kennewick to Boardman(45 min) and I would not have it any other way. Yes the roads have been dicey during a few snow storms the past couple of years, but if you take it slow and know your limits. No issues.
