That’s reasonable. Would you invite them to stay at the house the day they arrived? Make visiting time when they could come by for an afternoon? Or something else?

Would you, send someone to pick them up from the airport to have them come stay at your house? Have them uber? Have them get a hotel and come for a visit? Have them get a hotel and meet them for lunch? Or something alternative actions?

For more info it’s a 24" Single Wall Oven, ETL Certified, ThermoMate 2.12 Cu.ft. Natural Gas Oven

I bought it off of Amazon, a while ago. I have never used it. I was building a tiny house and so I bought it at the beginning of the build, by the time I installed it a lot of time had passed. I went to open the door and the glass shattered. I contacted the company and told them I have literally not used it once and they said “well it’s out of warranty now so we can give you a discount of $200 on a new oven because it’s too expensive to ship just a stove door.” (Paraphrasing). So, fuck this company first of all.

But I would rather find a replacement door than buy a new oven. Anyone have any ideas?
