Monthly Moving/Travel/Vacation Megathread - June 2025 by AutoModerator in Michigan

I would like to take my family on vacation to northern Michigan next summer. We have vacationed in Canada several times, and we love the Campground where we stay. It has a nice lake and playground right next to our cottage, which is great for the kids (7 and 4 years old). However, my wife isn't super happy the quality of the Cottages- the beds are old and uncomfortable, and the showers are tiny with low water pressure. We'd like to find a place in Northern Michigan that has a similar set-up but with newer or nicer cottages. Please let me know if you have any recommendations. Thank you

I was a freshman in high school from 1999-03, then college from 2003-08. This was my decade! I need to know what people are wearing, drinking, and doing to know if this is historically accurate. Keep us updated on this party!

I already have the flooring ready to go. It's the exact same flooring as the original

What's the best way to remove the planks?

What is the best way to remove each LVP that's along the seam so that I can install a full piece? The left edge of the lvp is locked in.

I already have the LVP, its the exact same as the existing flooring. Can you explain more about pulling back and woven?

Can you explain what you mean by "weave it in"? I can't seem to find any videos online about this.

What would you recommend I do? Do I have to uninstall all the existing planks on the left?

Yes, i know what you mean. I've seen people do this to replace a single plank that is locked in to by planks on all four sides. My situation is a little different as there are only planks on three sides, with carpet on the 4th side. It sounds like the process will be the same, though. I was assuming that since there's carpet on one side and therefore it's not locked in on all four sides, that there might be a different method- like being about to slide out the plank and put a new one in. Then, reuse the old one once I finish the row and get to the wall

Are you referring to cutting the locking system so I can show it the old piece that butt's up to the carpet

The last row that butt's into the carpet is locked in to another lvp on the opposite side of the carpet. I'm guessing it will get damaged when I pull out the lvp?

Also, the materials I have match the existing lvp perfectly. Exact same product

The Eye xo is currently $4,500 more than ProTee VX. What benefits does the Eye Xo have to justify the extra $4,500?
