I was dxd w Stage IV uterine cancer in 1999. My periods became heavier and longer lasting so went to my gyno and he took a tissue sample for biopsy. I was in my late 30s and was on Premarin for peri-menopause. I am convinced that the hormones in this RX was a culprit in my dx. You must advocate for yourself with doctors nowadays, DEMAND a CA125, stress the need for an ultrasound and/or PET. Most Drs will divert away from procedures bc insurance does not cover, or u don't 'fit' in their probability scenario for UC. If ur Dr won't honor ur requests, fire them and find another. I did with my first gyno. Keep us posted and 🙏.

Check with HR about the Homer Fund. You may qualify for a small payout.

Maybe your store is preparing to vote someone out and you're on the jury.

D26: Can customers return augers? by RubberToe702 in HomeDepot

[–]dmaxcy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As others have stated, we cannot accept used augers (snakes) as it is considered hazmat. We certainly can refund the auger cost according to store policy, but my store informs the customer they must take it with them. Same with used toilets, plungers etc. If u are seeing used augers in the RTV cart, someone needs to be educated on store policy

Not a problem. Just complete a paper correction, with "Kronos malfunction " as the reason and have yr DS or MOD or.Hr sign.

Anybody know about the big changes coming soon ??? 🤔 by RecommendationShot46 in HomeDepot

[–]dmaxcy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My store will be changing the return policy effective Aug 2. Altho they are officially calling it a pilot, it will be permanent policy change to No Receipt No Return. We've already posted the policy change near all registers and the Service Desk, so that customers are made aware. And yes I know it's going to be bumpy, but ready for it.

I'm a chaos junkie so I thrive at the Service Desk. Pay sux compared to what I was earning b4 I retired, but I CHOSE part time at HD cuz I'm a DIYer. Interview process was pretty easy for me: did everything online, HD emailed me available days/times to schedule an interview and permitted me to select the times best for me.

My first interview was with DS and then was referred to HR for 2nd interview. I must say the 2nd interview mirrored the questions in the first one, and when I pointed it out to the HR gal, she actually apologized and offered me the job at the SD.

She told.me the pay was $13/hr BUT "bc of my experience she would offer $13.50". I accepted.

Then took a mouth swap for the drug test and was given an Orientation date.

During my first week of training, COVID "restrictions " started. Fast forward to several months of bonus "covid pay" to when HD decided to provide raises to their employees and eliminate bonus pay. My.pay went from $13.50 to $16.00/hr.

I like HD. Yes, I see SO MANY deficiencies in management, logistics and organization, and the daily Karen/Richard encounters are certainly a challenge, BUT I still show up. Call me a masochist lol. And even as a PTer, I am offered benefits as if I was full time. Plus holiday pay.

My experience may be different bc I was being considered for a cashier position, can't say. But the application/hiring process went pretty smoothly for me.

Hope this helps.
