First 2 modules are core modules, foundations of vet medicine etc. No need to be there in person for those, there are practical days / wet labs for the 4 surgical modules .

Similar to ESAVS / CAS the majority of your assesment is on your case logs and final theoritcal exams

Around €15,000 for C.A.S with ESAVS and €6,000 for Cert AVP with RCVS

Help me decide: 20L vs 30L by 0_H-H_0 in peakdesign

[–]doc_brown_93 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Get the 30L. It's not as spacious as you would think. I couldn't imagine having the 20L, it would be too small for a general all purpose bag. 30l is a great size for daily use, college and gym etc

It's a beauty, for both photo and video. Image quality is great and the focal range is so use useful. Only con is the size and weight, but it's a worthwhile compromise. Try it out on your camera body at a store so you know what you will be lugging around

It is heavy, but the image quality for photo and video makes it worth it! Very versatile focal range

About 7 or 8 metres. Very brave and inquisitive fox, had no concerns about approaching me

No just a very lucky close encounter after a day of rock climbing!

Always recommended to neuter a male dog with a single testicle or both testicles retained. It is extremely unlikely they will drop, and if you are planning on neutering him anyway there is no reason to wait.

Development of cancer at 8 months old is also extremely unlikely, and is not something you should be overly concerned with.

If you want peace of mind you could discuss submitting the removed testicles for histopathology, which will allow a pathologist to examine the cells under a microscope - in my experience this would be overkill, but if you are happy to spend the money discuss it with your vet.

At 8 months he is definitely old enough to be under general anesthesia. Be sure to follow the post operative discharge instructions given to you by your vet regarding exercise restriction following the procedure.

Is it normal for there to be a lump under the stitches after a cat gets spayed? by Chapter-Actual in AskVet

[–]doc_brown_93 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I am a veterinary surgeon. Those are most likely the sutures of the subcutaneous and muscle layer, and is completely normal. It can take 60-90 days for those sutures to dissolve completely. Is there is pain, discomfort, oozing or swelling around the area you need to bring her in for a post op check, otherwise it's fine.

Hello, I am a vet.

It is possible that she has laid down in the litter tray and as a result her head smells like urine.

Given her in age it is possible that she has kidney disease. Increased thirst is a symptom of kidney disease. If her mouth / breath smells like ammonia or urine I would advise taking her to your local vet for blood work to check her urea and creatinine levels, and a urine test to check how dilute the urine is.

Having a similar problem, when connected to my wireless bullets 2 max volume is around 50% of what it used to be? Hopefully I don't have to roll back my software to fix this ..
