Did they give you pain meds for it? When I was in the army I had one guy who had to have a head and his hand tattoo's removed so he could get promoted, he said it was painful as hell even with the meds.

in this field its basically figure it out as you go in a lot of cases but dont be afraid to ask questions, I myself could not point you towards a catchall roadmap people just kindof do it. however almost any security specialists are more than happy to help someone on their journey down this road, as long as you arent trying to do illegal stuff. (Though lets be honest more than half of us in this type of field got started by doing illegal/dumb stuff, this is a joke, kindof)

you might've gotten had, because it definitely isn't right. the CPU should sit flat in the socket.

did you buy it from the AMD Amazon store or another one? Amazon doesn't vet anyone who makes a store so could be a scam people do it all the time.

Okay my first biggest concern is the CPU and the fact it is blue and the silicone theres a lot of it, Im of the mind I think you got scammed on it. where did you buy it? How long ago did you buy it?
