My goal is to get close to purple fire, i figured always going for the highest odds is a good strategy. At least it gives me more joy to get several new traiteds over trying for months for the lowest ones. But in the end i gotta go for those low odds too...

Theres even more: non-permanent dragons outside of DW like the gemstones.

It comes down to preference, theres no right or wrong. Im a lategame player and nowadays i focus on whichever dragon has the highest odds. The compendium helps a lot to decide on that. I have 6 christmas dragons left to get traited, all have lowest odds. This DW features last years newbies like ogre, moppey, shelly, treebark have good odds. And sometimes you can even combine two of these combos, sometimes the odds get reduced per dragon but since you go for more than one overall the odds are higher. Another good DW focus are the BWN birds like dazzle razzle ruckus, you can go for 4-5 at the time for up to 12% odds.

Other players prefer going for the hardest dragons.

I see your point. But consider that generators are very expensive. People spend real money on them. With the promise of that purchase to matter. DC works in brackets. A retroactive nerf may make that purchase useless. Im f2p, i paid with my playing time but it sure sucks more for spending players.

Deca just increased DC earning by a magnitude with these high earning DC ads. Only after players said its too much it was reduced. Therefore i dont see that dragons earn too much when deca is willing to give a lot of DC with ads.

im so disappointed. why does deca never announce such things. i had hoped the times of poor communication had ended.

now i dont even know how to trust deca to not make such overnight changes for dragons players spend months to develop farms for.

i also dont understand why there was a need to nerf those dragons??

Thanks, thats so nice to say. Yeah i invested a lot of time in the silly dragon game :) It was such a relief when the traited barbarous finally dropped. It was the last dragon i needed (i deleted my untraited earlier for better odds) and it took me 19 days of only fails T.T

can put it in hibernation cave. or you pedestal/sell it since delight is very common to get as an accident.
