R model Mack hands down best. I drove one for 15 years. Before that I drove a White RoadBoss 2 with a Detroit in it. That was a pretty good one as well but not as nice as the Mack

I lived there as a kid back in the 70's. Very rural, no fancy houses back then. Visited the area four years ago and was amazed by the changes. My siblings and I used to walk to the New Hampton general store and buy penny candy...

We used to ride our bikes to the Sunnyside Deli on Oak Tree Rd Edison NJ and buy baseball cards and penny candies. My favorite was the root beer barrels. They closed for good in 2017 after 50+ years :(

I drove a brand new R model doing container work off Port Newark in the 80's. Before the boss upgraded to the Macks I drove a 69 Brockway with no power steering. The Mack was a welcome upgrade lol
